Notes

'Miss Honeybee' cucumber tree (Magnolia acuminata 'Miss Honeybee') is a tree for specimen planting, low maintenance gardens, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Light to medium yellow, fragrant flowers open in early to late spring, and birds visit the tree. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It grows in a pyramidal shape and shows fall color.
