Notes

'Miss Innocence' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Miss Innocence') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant double flesh-white flowers open in early to mid spring. The loosely formed blooms are about 7 inches wide, with broad outer petals that get smaller and curve inward toward the center. Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it.

Pairs well with Carnaval De Nice tulip, Cinnamon fern, and Miss Kim lilac.
