'Miss Mellish' sunflower (Helianthus 'Miss Mellish') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, cottage gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It blooms from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Fireweed, Red fescue, and Cupcakes Blush cosmos.
