Notes

'Mister Lincoln' rose (Rosa 'Mister Lincoln') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. The dark red blooms have a strong damask scent and attract butterflies and bees. Blackspot can show up on occasion, so remove any infected leaves. Herbert C. Swim and O. L. Weeks bred it in 1965.

Pairs well with Coral Sunset peony, Feather reed grass, Ornamental onion, and Guacamole hosta.
