Notes
'Modèle de Perfection' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Modèle de Perfection') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double blooms open in late spring in rose-pink with silver edges. It stays dwarf and blooms freely, with good stems and foliage. Calot bred it in 1875.
Pairs well with Invincibelle Ruby smooth hydrangea, Royal fern, and Spanish bluebell.
