Notes

'Modella' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Modella') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flower gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, double, light pink blooms have a creamy collar and a sweet, delicate fragrance. Strong, upright stems hold the flowers well, and the foliage stays healthy. Betscher bred it.

Pairs well with Catnip, Miss Kim lilac, Royal fern, and Pink Impression tulip.
