Notes

'Modern Art' rose (Rosa 'Modern Art') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright shrub grows 28 to 47 inches tall and bears fragrant red blend blooms in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. L. Pernille Olesen bred it in 1985.

Pairs well with Baby's breath, Blue wild indigo, and The President clematis.
