Notes

'Monfar' nandina (Nandina domestica 'Monfar') is an evergreen shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and stays erect, reaching up to 48 inches tall. It sits low on the menu for deer. Birds visit it, and it tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Autumn fern, Knock Out rose, and Festiva Maxima peony.
