Notes
'Tuscan Flame' nandina (Nandina domestica 'Tuscan Flame') is an evergreen shrub for hedges and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows fast to about 48 inches tall and 36 inches wide with an erect habit. Birds visit it, and it tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Rose, Fountain grass, September Charm anemone, and Sweet woodruff.
