Notes

'Monica Marie' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Monica Marie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The semi-double flowers are a waxy, chaste white. Seven rows of petals shrink in size toward a golden center ring. Julian L. Janus bred it.

Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, Little bluestem, and Stargazer lily.
