Notes

'Monsieur Germain de Montanzan' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Monsieur Germain de Montanzan') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. A tree peony keeps its woody stems through winter, so you only need to trim out dead wood in spring.

Pairs well with June hosta, Carnaval De Nice tulip, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
