Notes
'Monstrosum Tall Mix' strawflower (Xerochrysum viscosum 'Monstrosum Tall Mix') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and xeriscapes. It grows well in cool weather and can ride out a light frost. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, loamy soil. Orange, gold, and pink flowers open from early to late summer. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It is drought tolerant, so it asks for little care.
Pairs well with Statice, Lemon thyme, and White sage.
