Notes

'Montelimar' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Montelimar') is a bulb for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy soil. It grows about 51 inches tall and bears fragrant red blooms that attract bees. Flowers open from early to late summer and again from early to late autumn. J. Snoek bred it.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Bigleaf hydrangea, and Society garlic.
