Notes

'Monterrey Jack' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Monterrey Jack') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the fragrant blooms. Rabbits tend to pass it by. It also handles drought and salt well, so it suits low care spots.

Pairs well with Caradonna sage, Moonshine yarrow, and Lady's mantle.
