Notes
'Moon Child' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Moon Child') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single flowers are pristine white with a bright gold center. They rise high above a tidy plant. Julian L. Janus bred this hybrid.
Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Queen of Night tulip, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
