Notes

'Moonglow' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Moonglow') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Reno Rosefield bred it. The rose-type blooms open pale yellow and shade to deeper yellow at the base of the petals. Bright sun fades the petals to white, but the glow remains.

Pairs well with Indian grass, Sensation lilac, and Stargazer lily.
