Notes

'Mother Teresa' peony (Paeonia 'Mother Teresa') is a shrub for specimen planting, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Fragrant white flowers up to eight inches wide open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. The dark green leaves turn red in late fall.

Pairs well with Hardy geranium, Sweet William, and Jackmanii clematis.
