Notes

'Mr. Ed' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mr. Ed') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, fragrant blooms open extra early in a blushing cream color. Strong stems hold the flowers up well. Sometimes it produces frosty white flowers dappled with rose.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Tall fescue, and Black Hero tulip.
