Notes

'Mr. Moon' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mr. Moon') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, full double white blooms have light yellow shading. They open reliably on tall, stiff stems, so they suit bouquets. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.

Pairs well with Fragrant Bouquet hosta, Monkshood, and Phantom panicle hydrangea.
