Notes
'Mr. Thim' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mr. Thim') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Van Leeuwen bred it in 1926. The single, Tyrian pink flowers are large and open in mid to late spring. Strong stems hold them well above the foliage.
Pairs well with Fragrant Bouquet hosta, David garden phlox, Royal fern, and Pink Impression tulip.
