Notes

'Mrs. J. Bradshaw' avens (Geum quellyon 'Mrs. J. Bradshaw') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its orange and scarlet flowers bloom in spring and again in summer, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The mounding plants stay 12 to 24 inches tall.

Pairs well with June hosta, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Jackmanii clematis.
