Notes
'Totally Tangerine' avens (Geum quellyon 'Totally Tangerine') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It forms a mounding clump of green leaves topped with orange-peach blooms. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.
Pairs well with Blue fescue, Pink Hawaiian Coral peony, and Greig's tulip.
