Notes

'Mrs. Cholmondeley' clematis (Clematis 'Mrs. Cholmondeley') is a vine for cottage gardens, containers, and use as a specimen or accent. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It climbs 9 to 12 feet tall and bears mauve-blue flowers that repeat from spring to fall. Charles Noble bred it. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Garden phlox, Obsidian coral bells, and Susan magnolia.
