Notes

'Mrs. George Rawson' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mrs. George Rawson') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, fragrant, light pink blooms shade darker toward the center and open in late spring. The stems are long and stiff, so they work well for cutting. Francis H. Allison bred it.

Pairs well with Nepeta, Stargazer lily, and Solomon's seal.
