Notes
'Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy') is an upright perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The rosy pink blooms fade to nearly white at the petal tips. Stems are heavy and stand up well in storms. The compact plant stays about two feet tall and still looks good as foliage after bloom.
Pairs well with Little bluestem, Stargazer lily, and Garlic chives.
