Notes

'Muriel Dickson' rose (Rosa 'Muriel Dickson') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and cut flowers, and it also makes a fine specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Hugh Dickson bred it in 1915. The orange blooms are fragrant and appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and thorns cover the bushy stems, so wear gloves when you prune.

Pairs well with Bigleaf hydrangea, Fountain grass, and Chaste tree.
