Notes

'Murillo' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Murillo') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single flowers are light pink with a golden-yellow center. They open in early summer on plants that reach 28 to 35 inches tall. Max Josef Goos bred it.

Pairs well with Monkshood, New Jersey tea, and Cinnamon fern.
