Notes
'Mystic Mood' peony (Paeonia 'Mystic Mood') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Fragrant single blooms in cream with red shading open in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. William J. Seidl bred it, and it carries its blossoms well.
Pairs well with Lamb’s ear, Weigela, and Nelly Moser clematis.
