Notes
'Nagasaki' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Nagasaki') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Millet & Son bred it. The large, dark pink single flowers have white stripes and show well above the spreading foliage. They bloom from mid to late spring into early summer.
Pairs well with Rainbow's End hosta, Royal fern, and Black Parrot tulip.
