Notes
'Narcissus' peony (Paeonia 'Narcissus') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The yellow single flowers open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. The large, broad leaves are slightly ruffled. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.
Pairs well with Lamb’s ear, Greig's tulip, and Big bluestem.
