Notes
'New Design' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'New Design') is a bulb for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy soil. The red blooms are fragrant and open from early to late summer, with more in early to late autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and the plants stand about 59 inches tall.
Pairs well with Casa Blanca lily, Bigleaf hydrangea, and Mondo grass.
