Notes
'New Look' cockscomb (Celosia argentea 'New Look') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and accents. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It grows fast to 12 to 18 inches tall and bears bright red blooms that attract butterflies and bees. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It is also drought tolerant.
Pairs well with Sulfur cosmos, Crestar Mix zinnia, and Red fescue.
