Notes

'Newfoundland' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Newfoundland') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The Japanese type flowers are deep rose with a large center of golden fawn. They last well, so they make a lovely cut flower. Kelway bred it.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Immortality iris, and Indian grass.
