Notes

'Creeping' thyme (Thymus serpyllum 'Creeping') is an herb for rock gardens, ground cover, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Fragrant lavender flowers appear in spring, summer, and autumn, and bees and butterflies visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It grows fast and stays evergreen.

Pairs well with Hidcote lavender, Berggarten sage, and Calamint.
