Notes

'Night Mare' gladiolus (Gladiolus 'Night Mare') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Mayer bred it. The fragrant flowers bloom in summer and again in autumn, and they attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Tall stems reach about 47 to 59 inches, so you may want to stake them.

Pairs well with Montbretia, Black-eyed Susan, Sneezeweed, and Fountain grass.
