Notes
'Nijole Sadunaite' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Nijole Sadunaite') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Late blooming pink flowers are overlaid in lilac and face upward. Pink dominates in cold weather, and lilac shows on hot days. The spreading plants reach about 100 cm and do best with support.
Pairs well with Nepeta, Pincushion flower, and Royal fern.
