Notes

'Nikita' peony (Paeonia 'Nikita') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant flowers open pale yellow with a peachy-pink hue that fades as they age. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Ruud Warmerdam bred it as a sport of 'Lorelei'.

Pairs well with Dittany, Nodding onion, and Blue Muffin arrowwood viburnum.
