Notes

'Niphetos' tulip (Tulipa 'Niphetos') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The flowers open in early to late spring and stand about 26 inches tall. The outside of each bloom is soft silver yellow, and the inside is primrose yellow with yellow anthers. J.J. Grullemans & Sons bred it.

Pairs well with Mount Hood daffodil, Cat's Pajamas nepeta, and Picture peony.
