'Nong Yuan Yu Tao' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Nong Yuan Yu Tao') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant pink semi-double flowers open in mid to late spring. The blooms face upward and measure about 9 cm across. The spreading plant reaches about 80 cm tall.
Pairs well with Little Lime panicle hydrangea, Sweet woodruff, and Blue grama.
