Notes

'Northbrook Star' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Northbrook Star') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Yellow, fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Hosta, Incrediball hydrangea, Foxtail barley, and Carlton daffodil.
