Notes

'Nouvelle Europe' rose (Rosa 'Nouvelle Europe') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows as a bushy plant with dark green leaves and fragrant orange-red blooms. Flowers appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Jean-Marie Gaujard bred it in 1964.

Pairs well with Anise hyssop, Little bluestem, Jackmanii clematis, and Virginia sweetspire.
