October daphne (Hylotelephium sieboldii) is a perennial for rock gardens, containers, ground cover, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows 6 to 9 inches tall with arching stems and pink flowers.
