Notes
'Odalisque' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Odalisque') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, waved outer petals with a faint pink tint surround a compact, cupped center of cream-white. The double flowers are rose-scented and open in late spring on vigorous plants of medium height.
Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Japanese spirea, and Prairie dropseed.
