Notes
'Odette' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Odette') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Odette bears double pink blooms that look full and rounded in the garden. Cut a few stems for a vase to enjoy the color indoors. Auguste Dessert bred it in 1925.
Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Japanese spirea.
