Notes

'Oertel's Rose' yarrow (Achillea millefolium 'Oertel's Rose') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late summer and draws butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Drought and salt do not bother it, so it suits tough spots.

Pairs well with Dense blazing star, Blue grama, and Blanket flower.
