Notes

'Ofelia' peony (Paeonia 'Ofelia') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, deep lilac-pink flowers measure about 6 inches across and bloom one per stem. The foliage is purplish-red when it emerges and turns rich green as it matures. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, Clustered bellflower, Nodding onion, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
