Notes

'Old Siwash' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Old Siwash') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double, fragrant flowers open with a blush and fade to pure white in late spring. Stiff, upright stems hold the blooms well. Edward Auten, Jr bred it.

Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Quick Fire panicle hydrangea, and Sensitive fern.
