Notes

'Old Yella' aloalo (Hibiscus 'Old Yella') is a perennial for rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to wet soil. Pale yellow blooms with dark red eyes open from mid to late summer into early autumn. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Give it room to grow 36 to 48 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide.

Pairs well with Ruby Spice sweet pepperbush, Buffalo grass, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
