'Opus 2' peony (Paeonia 'Opus 2') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It grows upright and reaches 36 to 78 inches tall. Flowers open in early to late spring and attract butterflies.
