Notes

'Orange King' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Orange King') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and containers. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows fast and tolerates dry spells.

Pairs well with Spider flower, Snapdragon, and First Knight fountain grass.
